Fyrnask, the German black metal project, unveils “Krýndur af tóminu”, a new single announcing the forthcoming full‑length Íosir, to be released via Ván Records.
The track presents a cold, aggressive and unadorned approach rooted in the rawest forms of extreme metal.
The single pays tribute to the harsh, unpolished tradition of Teutonic black metal, built upon sharp guitars, frantic rhythms and a suffocating atmosphere. The cover artwork for Íosir, created by Serbian artist Stefan Todorović (Khaos Diktator Design), depicts a funerary and mythological scene of decay, ruin and demonic presence, aligning with the album’s themes of nihilism and spiritual desolation.
