The album is short, concentrated, and direct. In just 25 minutes, HKSPK delivers a fierce mix of styles that never feels forced. There is no filler here: every track serves a purpose within a concept built around the idea of “returning home”—not as a peaceful arrival, but as a return marked by violence, memory, and personal transformation. Su energía en salas y festivales, su actitud y su crecimiento constante han convertido al trío de Brandenburg en una de las propuestas más prometedoras dentro del cruce entre black, death, punk y hardcore. Heimkehr, su nuevo trabajo, confirma que no solo tienen ilusión y trabajo: tienen una identidad clara y un camino propio.

El álbum es breve, concentrado y directo. En apenas 25 minutos, HKSPK despliega una mezcla feroz de estilos que nunca suena forzada. Aquí no hay relleno ni artificio: cada tema cumple una función dentro de un concepto que gira en torno al “regreso”, entendido no como un retorno pacífico, sino como una vuelta marcada por la violencia, la memoria y la transformación personal. Heimkehr es un viaje desde la agresión inmediata hacia atmósferas más amplias y narrativas, mostrando una madurez sorprendente para una banda tan joven.

Le sigue “Kill the Weak”, un tema cañero y directo cuyo corte central está hecho para el headbanging masivo en conciertos. Es uno de esos momentos que en directo funcionan siempre.

“Rot in Despair” es, sin duda, uno de los puntos más altos del álbum. Se podría catalogar como el single principal y, personalmente, como el tema más completo del disco. Es el más variado, con melodías brutales y una batería que aquí demuestra toda su calidad. El final es épico, de esos que dejan huella.

“Rain in the Face” recupera la esencia del black metal más clásico: partes lentas, melodías de fondo que se deslizan entre los riffs, y una voz aguda que marca los tiempos con precisión. La melodía final es excelente, aportando un toque emocional inesperado.
