Schwarzwasser emerge as a compelling new voice in atmospheric, melodic black metal with their debut mini‑album …von Wahn und Sehnsucht, a 4‑track, 25‑minute journey into fog‑drenched melancholy.

Inspired by early post‑black metal pillars like Lantlôs, Karg and Les Discrets, the band builds an introspective soundscape of mid‑tempo flow, reverb‑soaked guitars and a constant interplay between tension and withdrawal.

Conceptually, the record uses Nature as a projection of loneliness, impermanence and the urge to escape an overwhelming civilization. Field recordings gradually merge with the music, reinforcing the feeling of retreat into a secluded, timeless sphere.
