A decade after the first spark of Groza, the band unveil the original 2016 demo of “Thanatos”, a raw and intimate glimpse into the project’s earliest breath.

Recorded in the dead of night with nothing more than a headset microphone and a small practice amp, this demo captures the urgency, excitement and unfiltered emotion that would later evolve into the entity known as Groza. Even the cover bears the first discarded sketch of the logo… a relic from the moment everything began.

To mark the anniversary, the band release the track for free, with all voluntary contributions being donated to cancer research. A gesture rooted in gratitude, memory and forward motion.

Groza conmemoran una década con la publicación de su primer demo “Thanatos”.

Diez años después del origen de Groza, la banda revela el demo original de “Thanatos” de 2016, una pieza cruda e íntima que muestra el primer latido del proyecto.

Grabado de madrugada con un simple micrófono de auriculares y un pequeño amplificador, este demo conserva la urgencia, la emoción y la chispa que acabarían dando forma a Groza. Incluso el logo de la portada es el primer boceto descartado, un vestigio directo de aquel inicio.

Para celebrar el aniversario, el tema se ofrece de forma gratuita, destinando cualquier aportación voluntaria a investigación contra el cáncer. Un gesto de memoria, gratitud y avance constante.

Diez años río abajo — y siempre hacia adelante.
