According to Hypnotic Dirge Records, the piece reflects “inner visions shaped by nature, silence, and the eternal cycle between life and dissolution” .
Created entirely by Alvar, the Swiss multi‑instrumentalist behind Conjuring, “Aura” channels the essence of the project:
• Atmospheric Black Metal rooted in vast landscapes and shifting seasons
• Melancholic tremolo lines and immersive ambience
• A balance between fragility and intensity, shaped by raw emotion and natural mysticism
The track is part of the upcoming album Memento Mori, described as Conjuring’s “most mature work to date,” exploring themes of mortality, transience, and spiritual awakening across six compositions .
Mixed and mastered at Klangschmiede Studio E by Markus Stock, “Aura” preserves the project’s raw emotional depth while achieving greater clarity and atmospheric weight .
