Black metal formation Angest announces the release of their first full‑length album, Perpetual Anguish, scheduled for June 26, 2026 through Vendetta Records.
The album will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
Angest presents itself as a new four‑piece entity channeling fear and darkness through torn vocals, intricate drums and sophisticated guitar work supported by a driving bass foundation. Their sound aims for precision, oppressive atmosphere and psychological descent, shaping a vision rooted in tension and inner turmoil.
The members of Angest are or have been active in: Lebenssucht, Cult of Erinyes, Détresse, Einst, (ex‑)Enthroned, Goat Torment (live), Humanitas Error Est, LVTHN, Sabathan, Thanargonauts, Towering, anchoring the project firmly within the European extreme metal underground.
Perpetual Anguish marks the first full manifestation of this collective identity — a work that promises to reveal what lies beneath.
